About Steve Steventon

The Story Starts
With the Storyteller…

I spent forty years in classrooms, teaching students from age seven through postgraduate level. Many of them had special learning needs. What worked best was never a worksheet or a lecture. It was a story.

Stories helped students understand difficult ideas, remember details, and stay curious. Over time, storytelling stopped being a technique and became the way I taught.

Those stories followed me home. I told them to my children, then to my grandchildren, night after night. The ones they asked for again are what eventually became The Forgotten Time series.

I write for young readers who like to think, question, and imagine. The kind of children who want adventure, but also want stories that take them seriously.

How The Forgotten Time Came to Be

Four volumes. Nine complete books. One series that grows with your child, offering stories full of curiosity, challenges, and courage.

Begin with Book One and follow the story as it was meant to be read.

The first book introduces Emdee, the world she knows, and the quiet shift that pulls her into something deeper.
The story moves with purpose, giving readers time to understand the characters and the choices they face.
